The God who Speaks
The Gospel of Luke is proclaimed in our Churches in 2025 as part of the Lectionary Cycle - Year C.
As part of the ongoing 'God who Speaks' initiative, where we seek to explore the richness of Sacred Scripture, we are studying the Gospels of Mark, Matthew and Luke from Autumn 2025 until Summer 2026, in six week sections.
Each Diocese and Parish are encouraged to enrich current practice and to develop and explore new ways of responding to ‘The God who Speaks’. To help achieve transformation in our hearts and in our communities there will be three themes of celebrating, living and sharing God’s word. Materials and information can be found on the Bishops’ Conference website http://www.cbcew.org.uk/home/events/the-god-who-speaks/
Together with the parish of St. Michael's, Sonning Common, I shall be running this scripture course on Wednesday evenings in person and on Thursday morning by zoom. The details of where and the link to join will be found here.
