Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School

 

is the Catholic School within the parish of Sacred Heart church.

We have been graded 'Good' by Ofsted (Oct 2016) and 'Outstanding' within the key area of'behaviour, safety and welfare. 

 

We participate in parish life -

Once a term the school choir leads the liturgy at the 10.30am Sunday Mass.  

Father Paul visits the school every wednesday morning and Friday afternoon. 

On Wednesday  he celebrates the School Mass,  to which parents and parishioners are always welcome. Please visit the Church Calendar, where the dates and times of the School Mass may be found.

 

We support the Sacramental  programme of the diocese -

In year 3 the children follow the 'I believe' curriculum that prepares them for Reconciliation and first Communion which is celebrated in May.

In year 6 the children prepare for Confirmation which is celebrated in June.

 

We are proud of our close relationship with the parish and continue to strive to be better together.
