PARISH  HISTORY

Following on the re-ordering of the church, we have been asked to prepare a history of Sacred Heart Church. While part of this will be the history of the building, a chapter will be included about the people who have contributed to making the parish what it is.

If you have any memories or records (photos, documents, etc.) about the church, the four parish priests who have served here, parishioners who have made a notable contribution or events that have taken place, which you think would be interesting to include in the history, please e-mail details to Charles Whittaker at xanadu21@sky.com.

It is hoped to have the history published in early 2012 so that future parishioners and visitors will able to learn more about our wonderful church and the parish
